Update 1 June 2020: Following the relaxation of Government restrictions we are now implementing new working practices.
Since the 1st April our consultants have been on hand to respond to enquiries and progress existing transactions where possible and I am pleased to say that a number of transactions have completed during this difficult time.
We are continuing to operate with a reduced level of staffing and are making changes to the way we work in order to ensure it is conducted in the safest way possible. We do not encourage visits to our offices and enquiries should be made by email or telephone. If you consider a visit to our offices is necessary please contact us first to discuss it, we can then make suitable arrangements.
The Government have encouraged the use of virtual viewings, which can be undertaken remotely without the need for face to face interaction. We will soon be in a position to offer a virtual viewing service to our clients for their properties and hope to make use of this as far as possible. Where virtual viewings are not available we will still be operating on-site viewings, though staff and those attending will be required to adhere to social distancing guidelines and where a property is in active occupation we will need to liaise with the occupier and undertake a risk assessment to ensure any viewings are conducted as safely as possible.
